Easter is just a few days away and with that, a lot is going on. People are looking forward to some amazing holiday dinners and many are planning to host one. If you’re looking to host an Easter dinner, you’re in for a treat.
In this article today, I’m going to cover all the steps you need to take in order to host a memorable Easter dinner. Have a look:
Choose an Appropriate Place
When hosting an Easter dinner party, the first thing that you need to do is choose an appropriate place for it. Due to coronavirus constantly mutating, I suggest you hold the party in an outdoor area. It will minimize the risk of contracting the virus.
If you’re living in a warmer region, you can book a poolside area at a farmhouse or a hotel. In case you’re in New York City, London, or Moscow where April is usually cold, you can arrange a bonfire instead.
Decorate the Area
An Easter dinner means lots and lots of decorations. First of all, you need the appropriate lighting and a power backup. For this, I suggest you purchase a 5000w portable generator. It will come in handy for all such events and even outdoor activities like camping.
Plus, if you have kids coming in, Easter eggs are a must. You can either order Easter eggs online as many retail stores offer it around Christmas or you can make Easter eggs at home. Simply watch a DIY tutorial and follow it.
Arrange an Outdoor Barbecue
There’s nothing better than an outdoor barbecue. It’s a lot more fun than sitting inside at a table and having food. You make your food outdoors and enjoy it in a pleasant
environment.
For this, all you need is a portable barbecue grill, some meat, spices, and a few sauces. Let your guests make their own meals to make it more fun and less tiring. Trust me; they’ll feel at home when making their meals.
Some Cocktails, Too
Don’t forget the cocktails, please. What’s the point in arranging an Easter dinner party if you’re not going to let loose and enjoy yourself for a bit. I’m pretty sure your guests will want the same thing.
Make sure to have some cocktails at the dinner party. Ask your friends and family about what they like, the flavors they prefer, and arrange the drinks accordingly. The after-dinner green tea is also mandatory.
Make Goodie Bags
Who says goodie bags are just for the kids? It will be like a souvenir that your guests will love taking home, something that will remind them of your dinner party months later. You can make goodie bags at home as per your budget and likings.
Get a few printed gift bags from a nearby store and add different little things like scented candles, little diaries, and handwritten cards in them. Write an Easter wish along with a nice quote in the cards. It will serve as a great gesture.
Pretty simple. Isn’t it? Follow the steps mentioned above and host a fabulous Easter dinner this year. Enjoy!
