Who was Tupac Shakur?
Tupac Shakur was an American musician who grew to epitomise the 1990s gangster rap star style and became a figure of noble struggle after his murder. He is one of the best-selling artists of all time, with 75 million album sales to date.

Early Years of Shakur’s Life
Tupac Shakur got birthed in Harlem, New York, on June 16, 1971. Afeni, his mom, was parenting two children on her own and struggling financially. The family moved around a lot, even at the shelters at times. Tupac studied at the elite Baltimore School for the Arts, wherein he felt “the most liberated I ever felt.”
Death – A Tragedy
Tupac died of bullet wounds six days previously in Las Vegas, dated September 13, 1996. His assassination is still unsolved. Tupac and Knight were in Las Vegas on September 7 to see a Mike Tyson battle at the MGM Grand hotel. Following the fight, a member of the Crips group and Tupac got into a brawl.
Knight and his crew, who were part of the rival Bloods group, jumped in. Tupac got hit by a bullet in the hand, pelvic, and chest after a car he was riding with Knight came to a halt at a red light. A man exited from another vehicle and fired 13 shots, striking Tupac. He deceased later in the hospital. In his dying days, his fiancée Kidada and mother Afeni both were by his side.
