How to create a discussion thread
If anyone of you want to post reply or thread related to different topic just use the option discussion tools. You can use this tools for many more objectives. Such as to ask any question, to give your opinion related to course, share any file or work with your classmate related to assignment or any homework.
Checking your grades
To check your grades you have to go to the navbar. You will see an option grade tool. Click that option to see your grades for your tests and assignments. Individual grades will be s shown to you. Depending upon the system that how your grades are set, you will also be able to view comments on your grades. It will then provide you the overall performance of the class.
Your bonus grades will be shown without the grade formula. As they will be added to your final grades. So will only be able to see the weight of bounce grades or it’s numeric values.
How to know that your grades are updated
You have to signup to get latest updates. After signing up you will receive an text or notification from email every time when your grades are released. It is better to set up a contact before you subscribe to notification. For that copy the steps

How to submit an assignment
D2l has one amazing feature in it. It has an option of assignment tools in it. Through which you can send assignments to your instructors. While you don’t have to mail, fax or email to them. It’s just very easy. You just have to place your assignment to place provided and submit it. This option is very beneficial both for students and teachers.
You have to submit your assignments before the last date arrives. There are two dates for an assignments due date and end date. Due dates are the deadline dates for submission of assignments. These dates are only for assignments. While end date will be attached to every assignment. These are the last date you can submit your assignment. It doesn’t matter what is the due date. After the end date your assignment will never be accepted whatever the reason is.
Ho to delete an assignment submission
Once you have submitted your assignment there is no option that you can cancel it. So submit wisely and check your mistakes carefully before submitting an assignment. But the is one hack for you. You can resubmit an assignment. And you can tell your instructor. But if you don’t have this option so contact your teacher. Tell him everything and ask him that if you can re submit the assignment.
How to take a quiz
Again you will see an option of quiz tools. Choose that option to give the quiz. After the quiz you can also see it’s results and review. You can view the performance of all the class. How can you change the personal settings from Brightspace Learning Environment
To change your setting go to minibar from your username. Now you change your settings and profile. You can make a change in your accounts and notifications. You can simply log out when you have completed the process. And can change in the future further if you want to.
Office 365
If you want to change the permissions for the documents you have to visit the office 365 delve app. First of all, you have to locate the document for which you want to verify the permission. Now the option of share. After that press the link shared with. Now you will be able to see who saw your documents and who has the permission to see it. You can edit and can set who can see your documents.
How you can access D2L
You can get access to D2L. For that you have to visit http://D2L.mnsu.edu. It is the site of the MNSUs website desire2learn. Now put your ID and the password. Your ID will be provided to you when you will get registered in the university. Or when you will get enroll to the courses.
